Littlemore RFC 0 Wallingford 59 (25.09.04)
Wallingford extended their unbeaten sequence to three games in this convincing win over local opposition. Wallingford were quick to settle into their stride when they won a scrum against the head near the Littlemore line and no8 Peter Thorne crashed over for a try. This was quickly followed up by a try for right wing Jake Carter. A quick penalty by young scrum half Richard Turner handed full-back Henry Venners a walk-in try. Captain Olli Henderson then burst from half-way to score near the posts and put Littlemore really on the back foot.
Henry Venners then completed a hat-trick of tries before half-time. The break gave Littlemore a chance to regroup and their forwards started to make ground by running penalties. However this couldn’t prevent further tries from Carter and Venners and a well-deserved score for Turner. Olli Henderson converted 7 conversions.
